One, there is nothing there to show that CO2 emissions are mutually exclusive with solar activity in promoting climate change. The study was thumbs specifically focused on causes OTHER than greenhouse gasses. Secondly, I didn't see anything that talked about datal linking recent thumbs solar activity with recent temperature changes. Also, one should note the following on the site: "...says Mayewski. "There are good thumbs reasons to be concerned about greenhouse gases, but we should be looking at the climate system with our eyes open," Posted by: Talking point detective at February 21, 2006 04:38 PM Porkopolis, I looked at both of the links you provided, and as far as I can tell, neither really speaks to the issue of anthropogenetic causes for global warming - only that there is evidence that sugests that climate changes can be correlated with solar activity. Care to comment? Posted by: Talking point detective at February 21, 2006 04:46 PM Porkopolis, just checked out your website - and I found this link to be particularly interesting: http://www.clearlight.com/~mhieb/WVFossils/ice_ages.html
